The Founder’s Background…

Bill Mauger grew up in a large family on Canada’s East Coast. He served eleven years with the Canadian Armed Forces, including two back-to-back tours of duty with NATO. He left the military to start a family AND a business. He contributed extensively to his community through volunteering countless hours with several community organizations.

Prior to the Handyman business, he created a communication services company, and wrote a book on technology. Then in 2006, he created Your Local Handyman Inc so that he could serve the home improvement needs of homeowners in his community. With this experience, he wrote his second book called GET THREE QUOTES. This full colour book is for sale on this site.

He developed business systems approach to business and trademarked his processes. He consults with other Handyman Services and tradespeople to help them achieve success in their businesses.
