Giving Back To The Community

The Construction Zone, created by Your Local Handyman Inc, was an amazing annual event that we created for the City of Langley Community Days festivities which was our way of giving back to the community. We did it for eight years and it was an event for kids of all ages. We encouraged the kids to cooperate, respect each other, share the tools we provided, build with imagination, and finally… the kids got to take home what they built.

Some kids simply do not have an opportunity to use construction tools. We let them build something special, and then they get to bring their creations home. Thousands of kids have enjoyed this experience over the years.
